LDD, Linda Dobbins Dance, was created in 1996 as a dance studio that provides a fast paced, energetic atmosphere and a positive learning environment in the world of competitive dance. 

Proud of our strong competitive dance and theatrical heritage, we offer intense training in the fields of jazz,  hip hop, lyrical, ballet, contemporary, modern, tap, clogging, and acting. In this we have made a "tradition of excellence", not just in dance and winning national titles, but in the "life skills" your child learns through our program. We feel that these skills are an important factor in a young persons life. We aspire to teach our students confidence, responsibility, discipline, pride, perfection, and how to cope in a competitive environment. Not to mention it is FUN!

Our program has produced some of the best dancers in our area. Our dancers have progressed to achieve college dance teams, acceptance to the Alabama School of Fine Arts, college performing arts scholarships, and  professional careers in Los Angeles & the Radio City Rockettes and Broadway.

We also have master teachers on staff that visit with our company 3 times a year. Chebar Williams of the Geoffrey Ballet and the San Francisco Ballet. Gregg Russell-of the 42nd Street on  Broadway.  Barry Youngblood choreographer for the  MTV music awards and for Christina Aguilera.
