Have you ever wanted to learn how to can all that wonderful food you grow each summer? Now is your chance to learn how firsthand, and have a lot of fun at the same time.
You will spend a day in the late summer or early fall, in order to get the freshest fruit, canning with Leslie Washington. You'll learn about techniques and supplies. Ask all the questions you want. Best of all, you will bring home 3 jars of applesauce and 3 jars of blackberry jelly! Next year, you will be inspired to grow even more fruits and vegetables, and then can them yourself.
Leslie has "upped" the ante this year on this wildly popular item and is including canning supplies for you to take home!
Special Instructions
The winning bidder will be supplied with a certificate containing all needed contact information. In the late summer or early fall of this year (2011), on a mutually agreed upon date, you will meet at Leslie's Sebastopol home for an afternoon of canning.
Pick up/shipping information: At auction close, certificate will be available for pick up in Sebastopol, CA or mailed at the winning bidder's expense. Certificate will be mailed via USPS first class mail. Mailing/shipping insurance is optional. Winning bidder is responsible for all fees and billed at standard industry rates.
