Learn to Make Flowers From Old Sweaters!


Come and spend the morning with first grade teacher, Sasha Prosser and assistant teacher, Suzanne Hue, learning multiple techniques to creating four to five different spring flowers out of recycled wool sweaters and blankets.  Depending on the complexity of the flower made, students should be able to make at least 4 flowers. 


Flowers can spruce up an old  jacket, sweater or hat.  Class participants will come away with patterns and advise of how to find and prepare the materials.  Minimal sewing skills required.


Workshop is scheduled for Saturday, April 2  from 8:30- 12:30pm at a beautiful hill top home in Occidental off Willow Springs Road.  Tea and cookies provided.  Space is limited to 10 students.  Age limit 6th grade to adult.

Pick up/shipping information: At auction close, certificate for the workshop with all the necessary contact information will be available for pick up in Sebastopol, CA or it can be mailed at the winning bidder’s expense. Certificate will be mailed via USPS first class mail. Mailing/shipping insurance is optional. Winning bidder is responsible for all fees and billed at standard industry rates.
