Description
A true treat for pinot noir lovers. This item comes with both:
- A magnum (1.5 liter) of Balletto 2008 Pinot Noir Russian River Valley - Estate Bottled. This dark-garnet colored Pinot Noir showcases classic Pinot aromas. There are beautiful outlying spice components of cardamom, fresh pine forest, new leather, delicate vanilla and a touch of toasted oak spice, all of which sit upon the core aromas of black cherry, raspberry and cola. The fragrance alone is intoxicating. The wine is highly textured and is structured around its cool-climate pie-cherry tartness -- a hallmark of growing Pinot in the cold southern end of the Russian River Valley. Subtle tannins and astringency fill out the mouth feel and complete the wine. This estate Pinot will benefit from cellar aging during the next five to seven years. This exceptional wine is balanced and complex and will pair beautifully with rack or leg of lamb, braised pork or salmon.

Special Instructions
There is no expiration date on the gift certificate for the wine tasting. All tasters must be at least 21 years old, of course. Tasting room is open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., except Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's.
Pick up/shipping information: At auction close, item will be available for pick up in Sebastopol, CA or it can be mailed at the winning bidder’s expense.
Wine is shipped via AIM Mail Center and requires a wine shipper in addition to any shipping and/or insurance charges. The price of a wine shipper for a magnum is $7.50 and the estimated shipping cost for the West Coast is $22 and $29 to the East Coast. We cannot offer combined shipping on this item.
Wine is shipped “adult signature required” and the delivery must be signed for, it cannot be left without a signature. Mailing/shipping insurance is optional and incurs an additional charge. Winning bidder is responsible for all fees and billed at standard industry rates.
Wine can be shipped to the following 30 states: Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Iowa, Louisiana, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Oregon, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Texas, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia, Wisconsin, and Wyoming. If a state is not listed, state law prohibits wine from being shipped there.
