The Kitchen Counter @ Beacon: Dinner for 4 with Chef Waldy Malouf and Steven Shaw

Item Number: 344
Time Left: CLOSED
Description
One of the toughest tables to book in New York City is the Kitchen Counter @ Beacon, open just one night a week for its renowned "Dinner with the Chefs" tasting-menu experience.
This special evening is usually booked solid for months in advance, but Chef Waldy Malouf has made an exception for the highest bidder and three friends: He will open the Kitchen Counter on an extra night just for them. As an added bonus, James Beard Award-winning food critic, author, and former Habonim parent Steven Shaw will throw on his chef's coat to assist Waldy Malouf in the kitchen and act as co-host for the evening.
The winning diners will face the kitchen and have a bird's-eye view of the open-fire cooking in Beacon's kitchen: the mighty wood-burning oven, grill, and rotisserie that provide the foundations of Waldy Malouf’s cuisine. The proximity of the Kitchen Counter to the open kitchen allows for continuous interaction between the diners and the chefs. Most of the food is served directly by the chefs. Vegetarian options are available.
