Stand Up Paddleboarding is the latest craze in aquatic sports and Cal Adventures is bringing it straight to you! Our Introduction to Stand Up Paddleboarding class will help participants develop fundamental skills such s balance, stroke and steering. With the Berkeley Marina providing the perfect location to learn the basics, you’ll have the opportunity to work on stamina for longer paddles as well as catching and riding the waves delivered to the South Sailing Basin from the Golden Gate Bridge. This new sport is great for all -- whether you’re looking for a new way to relax and enjoy the Bay waters or wanting the high speed excitement of surfing.
