Description
Follow the Axe on its wild run through the streets of San Francisco, from the preliminary pinch at the Stanford baseball game to the foiled filch at a Berkeley fraternity. A poem of the caper is illustrated with fanciful "period" illustrations of the major moments: the baseball game, Muller's butcher shop, the Chinatown hardware store, the ferry crossing, the bonfire rally, and the night raid by disguised Stanfordites.
