Description

Did you know that Reed School has many families with Minnesota roots? You betcha! Some of those families are celebrating their beloved former state by hosting a State Fair Soiree. The Minnesota state fair is 150 years old and close to 2 million people attend this 10-day festival every summer. We're going to give you Missouri folks a taste of the fair.  -- Saturday, September 17th at the Schusters Home. You haven't lived until you've eaten food "on a stick" -- literally, it's served on a stick -- like pronto pups and deep-fried candy bars. We're going to serve up grilled fair food in that time-honored tradition, followed by some yummy desserts, like Key Lime Pie...you guessed it, on a stick. Though we won't have a cow sculpted from butter or a tilt-a-whirl, we will have great food, great music and a great time with people who know how to party. (Trust us, when summer falls on a weekend, you learn to make the most of it.) Come join us at the Mini Missouri-Minnesota Get Together!
