This original painting by Liddy Hubell is 36” x 36” and is painted in oil on linen.  It depicts the view from Ocean Drive in Acadia National Park east across to Schooner Head.  In the painting the peace and beauty of the view are set off by the light patterns on the water and the weather-pruned pine in the foreground.  The original work is on display at the front room at Swan Agency Insurance on Cottage Street in Bar Harbor.  Liddy Hubbell lives and works on MDI.  More information at LiddyHubbell.com.
