It is bursting with the essence of black raspberry, orange peel, violets, licorice and eucalyptus. The wine is dense, sweet and lush in the mouth, with strong flavors of ripe berries, chocolate, coffee and spicy oak. Finishes with full, ripe tannins and hints of mint. This dynamic 2003 Dickerson Vineyard Zinfandel is a special commemorative bottling for Bill and Jane Dickerson who lost their lives in the tsunami that struck Thailand in December 2004. – Joel Peterson
