Bustling River North is to get a new Japanese Restaurant, ROKA AKOR.  Roka Akor is a highly regarded Sushi and Steakhouse with an Arizona location and the Chicago location which is located at 111 W. Illinois Street. 

Roka, which has two locations in London and another in Hong Kong, opened its first North American outlet in early 2008 in Scottsdale, AZ.  It was counted among Bon Appetit Magazine's top 10 Sushi Restaurants in the U.S. last year.  The restaurant is also known for its Robata Grill, where meat, fish and vegetables are cooked slowly over Japanese oak charcoal.
