This is lovely 1899 piano was hand crafted by the prestigious German piano company, Ibach. The certificate from the Ibach company reads as follows:


The Ibach-grand piano with the instrument number 34112 was finished on August 14, 1899 in our factory in Barmen (today: Wuppertal).  This instrument is an art-case designer model Fl-31, style “Louis XVI” in mahogany, and was offered to Ibach-clients as an “Ibach-Salonflugel” (baby grand piano).  Designers of the case were the famous handicraft ebonists “Anton Bembe” in Mainz.  After completion the grand 34112 was sold to Mr. Wilhelm Stein in Darmstadt.  It was bought back by the Ibach company on October 12, 1926 from Mrs. Olga Klamroth in Eisenach.  In 1931 it was sold to Ibach’s general representative in England, the company Hermann Klinker in London. Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from Rud.Ibach Sohn



 


 




CONDITION:   used, but in good condition and holds a tune.  Restored to it's finest glory in 1997 by a Professional Piano Restorer.
