The Belly dance Basics with Sanjni Tara Progressive Series is an 8-week Egyptian-style Belly Dance Series designed for people interested in learning the art of belly dance but have either never taken classes or want to improve on their entry level skills.

The Belly dance Basics with Sanjni Tara (Progressive Series) starts with basic techniques, forms, and movements and progressively get more advanced.  Belly dancing contributes to improved self-confidence, self-expression, and self-love.  We encourage you to celebrate your creative energies by doing something for yourself that you have always wanted to do.

Special Instructions

Egyptian Cabaret Belly Dance is the most recognized form of belly dance and is what most people see when they watch a dancer perform at a restaurant. The Egyptian style of dance combines the technique of the movement with the emotion of the music to create a more involved, theatrical dance form. 


Sanjni Tara Dance Style is based in the ancient forms of Egyptian, African, and Middle Eastern styles of dance, the style of dance taught in the class is about learning to control your own body, and the energy that flows through it. It is fun, hard, and satisfying.
