Dallas Yoga Center offers an 8 Week Beginner Series designed to teach the fundamentals of yoga for those new to the practice.
For Beginners, DYC offers a thorough and comprehensive 8 Week Beginner Series. Though it is not required, we do recommend students new to yoga start with an eight week series since it covers many of the yoga fundamentals including basic postures, breathing awareness, yoga philosophy and meditation. These classes are tailored towards those who have never done yoga. Those who cannot touch their toes are most welcome to attend. The series is preparation for our Level 1 classes, however, many people decide to repeat the series before moving on. Teachers will give personal assistance throughout your learning experience at DYC and they are always happy to help you make the decision whether or not to continue with beginner level classes or to move on. Upcoming start dates for the series are posted in our schedule as well as on our website.
