This gear pendant was inspired by the beauty of hardware and mechanisms and tattoo parlor flash...together it is a "Gear heart"- for the love of cycling, biking, gearheads, steampunks and my post punk comrades.

I seek  to make objects that are inviting and thoughtful in concept as well as in form.

I find inspiration in the world that surrounds me: in found objects, natural forms, sculpture and architecture.

Each piece I create is the result of playful visual exploration.  My work has a balance of edgy and whimsical design, created with diverse techniques, materials and metals.

I believe my job as an artist is to explore my ideas with materials. My mission is to find ways to make them both sing. When my work makes me smile I know I’m on the right path.
