Jana’s photography passion began one boring summer afternoon when her Mother, with reluctance, allowed her to use the family’s precious Brownie film camera.

Out of that nine year-old’s excited passion grew a photographic skill —namely, Jana’s eye for elements of Nature and the various qualities of light — and is influenced by workshops from Rocky Mountain School of Photography (RMSP) and Dr. John P. Schaefer at the ASDM Art Institute.

Over the past 25 years, Jana’s photos appeared incorporate brochures and Southern California newspapers, and benefited small businesses via B & B websites, various newsletters,employee recognition gifts,custom greeting cards and invitations.

Her work achieved international exposure in Australia, appeared locally int he Tucson & Southern AZ Wedding Guide, Tucson Lifestyle, Arizona Highway and 520 Living magazines. Fine art photographs by Jana sold in Tucson at the Dinnerware Art Space downtown, various vendor shows & Fairs, plus the Ironwood Gallery at ASDM.

In 2010, Jana’s Mystic Light Photography created a printed greeting card line and this specialty calendar.
