Our teachers and content experts customize learning experiences for each student. We can facilitate individualized learning or small groups for up to 4 students in your home or a venue of your choice.

Select 1 program:

Finance for Tweens and Beyond (ages 10+)
Accounting, consolidation, valuation, derivatives, credit cards, checking accounts…whoa! Finance for Tweens makes advanced topics accessible for students curious about finance. Whether your child is interested in learning how credit cards work, creating a personal budget, or learning
stock trading skills, our finance tutors will design a lesson or series specific to your goals. For highly curious tweens or teens beginning to plan for the college transition, we can help to establish a solid finance foundation.

Digital Reverse Mentoring (for parents)
The digital landscape is changing daily and web 2.0 sometimes feels out of control! What are all these sites…TUMBLR, DIGG, FOURSQUARE, TWITTER, URBANSPOON? How does social gaming work? Reverse mentors will custom design sessions around your interests to help you improve your own skills and remain on trend! Learn more about how your kids are spending their time online, discover new applications and enhance your own media consumption. Mentors can also work with you and your family to discuss responsible social media usage and privacy settings.

Private Yoga For Children and Families (all ages, levels and special needs)
Programs include Warrior Boys!, BendiGirl, Yoga Mythology, and Animal Asanas (postures)
Yoga provides both physical and mental benefits that can be attained through a consistent practice.
Along with increased balance, coordination, and flexibility, yoga focuses on improving attention and concentration. The combination of the physical posture in yoga (asanas) and breathing techniques (pranayama) provides children with a sense of emotional harmony and an elongated attention span. These benefits can improve academic performance as well as social/emotional awareness among peers. Yoga is a unified system that focuses on all of the components that make up a happy and healthy child!

Mad Science and Technology! (all ages)
Name your interest! Electric circuits, building computers, Earth studies, butterfly life cycles? Have another idea? Turn your kitchen or living room into a laboratory for your child or a small group of friends. Depending on your child’s curiosities and interests, we’ll help to design a home-based program that promotes hands-on inquiry, developing and testing hypotheses, and data collection and observation. Whether your child is interested in biology, chemistry, earth science, computers or physics, we’ll help to design a perfect series or standalone activity. Lessons may integrate other disciplines, such as math or reading. We can also help to facilitate science fair projects.
