One Spring semester spot in Central Park golf classes for ages 4 and up at Kate Tempesta’s Urban Golf Academy.

Kate Tempesta, founder of Kate Tempesta’s Urban Golf Academy, is a member of the LPGA T&CP and the Director of the Junior Golf Program at Montauk Downs. She has been working with children to bring movement education to schools for over a decade, including developing and instructing the Creative Movement program at St. Thomas More Play Group. With a background in fitness and as the leading youth creative movement educator in the city, Kate understands the mind/body connection and how to make the most of every learning experience. She embraces the LPGA’s holistic view of the golfer, taking into account individual learning styles, group dynamics and ability levels. Kate is passionate about education and movement and considers herself to have the best job in the world, getting to combine the two.Kate started KTUGA to combine her passion for movement, early childhood education and golf. By using modified equipment created specifically for newcomers to golf, and perfect for children, Kate is able to introduce golf to children at a very young age.
