1 bottle of 2006 Trace Ridge Kendall-Jackson Vineyard Estates Knights Valley red wine.  This dark ruby colored wine opens with an attractive cherry vanilla bouquet.  On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and juicy.  The flavor profile is a very tasty blend of black cherry and red raspberry.  The finish is quite dry, and its dusty tannins are nicely prolonged.  Pair this tasty wine with a New York strip steak.

Winemaker notes:  Petit Verdot adds color and monster tannins.  Cabernet Sauvignon lends soft, sensuous tannins.  The Merlot provides a smooth velvety finish.  Dark fruit flavors abound in the bouquet and palate.
