Description

This special silver collection set includes 5 beautiful silver bars, total silver count weighted at 50 grams (10 grams/Ag999 stamped on each bar). The bars artistically display some of the most famous sites of the World Expo: The China Pavilion, The Theme Gallery, The Expo Center, The Cultural Center, and The Expo Axis. The back side of the bars is stamped with the Expo logo, title and date.

This special collection is an officially licensed product of the Shanghai World Expo 2010 and was purchased on site by an ISTP family visiting the Expo. The bars have never been handled nor removed from their protective casings. The box set is brand new and was only opened for photographs.

The 2010 World Expo was held in Shanghai, China on both banks of the Huangpu River from May 1 to October 31, 2010. The theme of the exposition was "Better City, Better Life" to signify Shanghai's new status in the 21st century as the next great world city.

The 2010 Expo had the largest number of countries participating and was the most expensive Expo in the history of the world's fairs. The Shanghai World Expo was also the largest World's Fair site ever.

By the end of the Expo, a record attendance of over 73 million people had visited, and 250 countries and international organizations had participated.
