Inspired by the beloved 1994 Ang Lee movie of the same name, this authentic Chinese meal prepared by Chinese Program Director Terry Qian will challenge you to discover new tastes and culinary delights.

Arrive at the home of Sabrina and Marty Hodgett and be greeted by your hosts. After everyone has arrived, you will be led to Sabrina and Marty's personal state-of-the-art home theater for a viewing of Eat, Drink, Man, Woman. The display of tantalizing dishes will have you longing for a feast.

After the film, Terry will prepare four cold dishes as appetizers, four hot dishes, one "staple food" and one dessert, served alongside imported Chinese liquor and beverages.

This meal will be particularly special, as Terry requests that guests be open-minded and adventurous, as you will not know what you will be eating until after you've tasted it. One of the dishes prepared will be something from the movie, but the rest will be a fun discovery!

Terry will also educate you and seven of your guests (8 total) on the basic philosophy of Chinese culinary arts, and familiarize you with Chinese ingredients and spices that are rarely seen in non-Asian grocery stores. This fun dinner party includes various "quizzes" and activities throughout the meal.
