We are struggling to describe this watercolor by Vermont artist Frank Landry.   Quiet?  Evocative?  Simple?   Yes, yes, and yes.   Titled 'Planting Time', the work is done in shades of black and smoky gray, with blue undertones.  A barn and silo peek over the newly plowed rows, while a lone tree stands guard in the center.  Mist rises and we know it's morning.  

Professionally double matted and framed in black wood, this piece is ready for hanging and measures 13" high x 16" wide.   The painting itself measures 8" x 10".  The matting is a crisp white and black.
