Ahhh . . . the school year.   The children are busy at school, and then with activities and homework.    That means you'll have plenty of time to bake delicious desserts for your family, right?    WRONG!    Every woman out there knows the school year actually equals more work.   Supervising homework, ironing school uniforms, packing lunches, driving the kids to their activities, digging strange things out from the bottom of backpacks . . . you get the picture.  

So this coming school year, enjoy having someone else - someone who's actually an awesome baker - make a great dessert for you every single month?    Good Shepherd parent and uber-baker Christine Reardon has graciously agreed to donate a dessert of the month, for all 10 months of the school year (yes, remember, we start in August.)    She'll bake AND deliver your dessert to the school on a pre-agreed day, and then all you have to do is pick it up, bring it home, and enjoy!    (You can always toss a few dirty pans in the sink if you want to pretend you made it.)  

And naturally, since these are home-made desserts, there will be no unpleasant nutritional labelling on them.   Which means they are totally calorie-free.   Really.
