This crocheted doily was hand-made by 94-year old Mrs. Jeanne Bona (that's her in the photo).  We don't think she'd mind us telling her age - we enjoyed a very nice visit when we picked up this donation.   The stories she shared about life in Vermont in the 1920's were amazing.   (We think road conditions in winter are bad now?  Hah!  Imagine roads being 'rolled', or sleds being lifted with crowbars out of their ruts.)  Anyway - back to this lovely doily.   It's in a crisp white color accented with vibrant purple.   Perfect for Easter, or for your Victorian or country home decor.   Measures approximately 15" across.
