Description
You will be an intern for a day working for the Pyrotechnic Operator-in-Charge at the world famous Hollywood Bowl. Join the crew of PyroSpectaculars working on one of the legendary fireworks shows at the Hollywood Bowl. You will work with the fireworks crew all day, getting hands-on experience in the preparation, installation, performance and the clean-up on a large scale, precision, electrically fired "pyromusical" and see first hand what goes into one of these spectacular, world famous, displays of fireworks, fired live to the music of the orchestra. It will be a day of hard, hot sweaty work, but at the end of the evening, 18,000 people will stand up and cheer for your efforts. You must be over 18 years of age, have either (a) a drivers license and social security card, or (b) a valid passport, and (c) be in good health, able to deal with summer time weather in Los Angeles, and not be (too) afraid of heights. You must schedule your experience at least three weeks in advance, choosing from the summer schedule of performances between June and September, during the 2011 summer season at the Hollywood Bowl.
