State Fair of Texas is the organization responsible for producing the well-known event of the same name. A 24-day showcase of entertainment, exhibits and competition, it's presented in Dallas each fall in historic Fair Park, a 277-acre complex recognized for its beautiful landscaping and unique collection of art deco architecture. he State Fair of Texas will open daily, Sept. 30 - Oct. 23, 2011. Exhibit hours are Friday thru Monday 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.; Tuesday thru Thursday 10 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
