The School of CBD was founded by SMU dance alumni to promote a higher quality of dance education and fitness for persons of all ages and skill levels in a positive and fun learning environment   The School of CBD offers training by instructors with extensive professional  experience.  Our instructors encourage all dancers to broaden their artistic horizons and realize their creative potential. CBD recognizes the importance of early exposure to the arts. Children excel in not only academics, but all aspects of life when we cultivate their interest in the arts. The future of dance is rooted in both knowledge and appreciation of the arts; therefore we offer unparalleled training in various forms of dance. Whether their desire is to become a performer or a patron, we seek to educate children in the art of dance, physically and mentally, instilling an appreciation of the art form for years to come. Students learn technique and performance skills such as coordination, flexibility, alignment, endurance, rhythm and strength.
