To start your child's dancing lessons at the Janie Christy School of Dance is more than learning basic ballet positions- a plie', an arabesque or grand jete'. Janie Christy's preschool dance program, for 3 and 4 year old boys and girls, develops and nurtures children's imagination, while exposing them to fun songs and a variety of classical composers. Kindergarten children continue to learn ballet basics and may start tap classes, further developing rhythm. Elementary children's classes are grouped by age and technique level.
