Description

Connemara Conservancy is a nonprofit land trust dedicated to preserving and protecting open space and the natural beauty in North Texas for both present and future generations. Connemara Conservancy was founded in 1981 with an initial gift of 72 acres by Frances (Montgomery) Williams on the border of Allen and Plano called the Connemara Meadow Preserve, or simply, The Meadow. The Meadow is not a park but a preserve, managed so as to preserve and restore the natural biologically diverse ecosystem that is native to the area. It is made available to the public as a place to revive the spirit while teaching the importance of nature and biodiversity in the world where we live. To minimize impact on nature no pets or bikes are allowed.

Special Instructions

Access to the Meadow for the entire family. Invitations for the family to one private concert or event at the Meadow. Reduced price on Meadow walks. Membership period is valid March 1, 2011-February 29, 2012
