Description
The Dallas Holocaust Museum is dedicated to reducing prejudice by teaching about the Holocaust, preserving the experiences of those who survived and honoring the memory of those who perished. The Dallas Holocaust Museum is open to the public; forty thousand school children visit the museum each year. It contains a meaningful exhibit of photographs and artifacts depicting the Holocaust and Jewish life in Europe. The Museum also has a Memorial Room dedicated to those who perished and to the Righteous Gentiles who tried to save them. The Museum provides tours for groups by appointment and has an audio-tape tour available for walk-in visitors. Its traveling tour can be presented at other locations.
