The Santa Rosa Junior College Plantetarium offers planetarium presentations especially designed to be of interest to students of all grade levels and the community. Each program contains spectacular visual effects and up-to-date information on the various topics covered. With a dome 40 feet in diameter and 27 feet high and a capacity to seat 95, the Planetarium is one of the largest space science facilities in the California Community College System.

STARS DOWN UNDER

Have you ever wondered what the sky looks like south of the equator? Imagine what it would be like to look up and see a completely different sky than what we see each night...Here's your chance to check it out without the hassle of jet lag.  The show is at the Planetarium right here in our own back yard! The show runs from January 21-30 and February 11-20, 2011 at the Santa Rosa Junior College. 

TARGET EARTH SHOW:

Did you know that the Earth is actually a spaceship orbiting around our star at some 67,000 mph and we are not alone? Asteroids and comets are among the many other objects vying for space in our solar system. These objects have hit the Earth before and will do so again. See what can happen by purchasing this set of four tickets for the SRJC Planetarium Show running from February 25-27 and March 11-27, 2011.
