The Childrens Museum of the Sierra is celebrating its tenth year of providing hands-on fun to the mountain community. The museum has become a special local attraction where parents, teachers, and senior citizens can assist and interact with children in an educational and fun environment. There are over 35 interactive exhibits in the areas of science, natural history and the arts. Many of the exhibits also provide an environment for occupational role play. The Museum is a program of the Educational Enhancement Foundation, a nonprofit, 501(c)(3) and is funded through admissions, memberships, grants, sponsorships, and donations. www.childrensmuseumofthesierra.org
