Pettibon is an artist known for his comic-like drawings that encompass the spectrum of American culture from punk rock, youth culture, literature,  religion, sexuality and sports including surfing. His works on paper combine the drawn image and text, both borrowed and text written by Pettibon himself.


His work is included in the collections of many museums and institutions including The Museum of Modern Art New York, Art Institute of Chicago and Tate Modern London.


 


This etching is part of an edition where each of the works were hand colored and are unique.
