R.J. and Jerrod Melman, (sons of Rich Melman) are the partners behind Chicago's hottest new restaurant, Hub 51, and have joined forces again with the opening of La  Grande Orange Santa Monica (LGO). Located on the corner that once housed the famous Le Boulangerie (gathering place in the sixties for Santa Monica and Venice hipsters), La Grande Orange is a testament to American cooking done really well. The dishes are created each day with fresh and honest ingredients. La Grande Orange has always emphasized, fresh, organic and seasonal even before it became cool to talk about. The only freezer space holds house made gelato and ice cream.

The breakfast menu features what many consider to be the best Huevos Rancheros in Southern California.
