This class is designed to continue 4th and 5th grade instrumental music education cut from the district budget.  Students will learn scales, notation, sight-reading, proper technique, theory, dynamics and how to play in an ensemble!  Equally important, our instructors will encourage students to experience the language of music while building self-esteem and confidence.  Band creates a stage for accomplishment and applause for everyone.  Concert band will have the following instrumentation:  Saxophone, Flute, Trumpet, Trombone, Clarinet, Trombone, Cornet, Snare Drum, Bass Drum and Cymbal.  All band instruments are available for rent or purchase at Village Music School.
