Everyone is fascinated by trains.  Indulge your inner engineer and head to the California State Railroad Museum, in Old Sacramento, for the day.  There are restored trains to explore, interactive exhibits, special events, toy train displays and a gift store jam-packed with train goodies. 

Then, once you are back, you can visit the Walnut Creek Model RR Society to see our local model railroad!

Four admission tickets for the California State Railroad Museum, each good for one person.  The Museum is open daily except Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's Day.  Passes are good for regular admission, excluding major ticketed events.
