Roadrunner Sutter’s Fort Woven Collaborative Art!

Participants of the 2010 Environmental Learning Project at Sutter’s Fort State Historic Park, collaboratively created a woven piece of art on an authentic period loom.  Each student selected wool, and/or fabric, and a,  “roadrunner feather” to weave into the artwork. A notation of each learning group’s contribution was added. The Strandwood Roadrunner spirited belief that many hands working together can create the ultimate one-of-a-kind piece of artwork is represented in this auction item. This is a beautiful memento that will be treasured by you and your student to commemorate an unforgettable pioneer experience!
