Frank James Malzone, third baseman and right-handed batter, spent 11 seasons with Boston and is among the all-time Red Sox leaders in several categories.  Frank Malzone was inducted to the Boston Red Sox Hall of Fame in 1995.

One of the most popular players to ever play for the Boston Red Sox, Rico Petrocelli will always be remembered for his familiar "Fenway Stroke" that sent many an opposing hurler's offerings into the net atop the Green Monster in left field.

Bill "Spaceman" Lee played for the Boston Red Sox from 1969 - 1978.  He was inducted into the Red Sox Hall of Fame as the team's record-holder for most games pitched by a left-hander (321) and the third-highest win total (94) by a Red Sox southpaw.

Known for his sinkerball, Bob "The Steamer" Stanley was picked up by Boston in the 1974 amateur draft and started his major league career with the Red Sox at the start of the 1977 season. Stanley played 13 years with Boston and was elected to the Red Sox Hall of Fame in 2000,
