If you like the flavors of Merlot but not the heavy mouth drying tannins we are seeing in a lot of the bottles coming out, than this might be your new best friend. It has great aromas of black cherries and earthiness, which lead into a soft and easy drinking merlot. The flavors are a real delight with none overpowering the palette, some nice hints of oak, raspberries, all rounded with cassis and cream cherry cola, The finish is light and lets the fruit dissipate and oak notes linger nicely. A great lighter style red wine for the holidays.
