Description
Are you thinking about adding on to your house? Building a guest house? Putting in a new deck? Here's your chance for two hours of consulting from two fine local architects on any architectural problem -- remodeling or new construction.
Architects Susan Stoltz and David Kau have been collaborating on projects for over seventeen years, both as Stoltz Kau Architects, and formerly as Project Architect and Principal at Fernau and Hartman Architects in Berkeley, CA. Their practice specializes in designing innovative solutions uniquely suited to the client and site. The starting point for each design is a rigorous study of site, client needs, local climate and building tradition. Their designs focus on natural daylighting strategies, color, material juxtaposition, a dynamic use of space, and a respect for the landscape and environment.
Their projects have appeared in national and international publications, including Sunset Magazine, San Francisco Magazine, New York Magazine, The New York Times, The Boston Globe, House Beautiful, Architecture, Progressive Architecture, and Global Architecture (GA.)
In the last 17 years they have completed a wide range of residential projects ranging from the remodel of a 400 sf guest house to master planning and design for a 15 acre multi-family compound.
