Dinner for two to six people at the home of Helen Bee (OPAL Board member) and her husband, Carl de Boor, including wine and hors d'oeuvres.  The house is on Buck Mountain, with gorgeous views.  The food should match!  The winning bidder can select from several alternative menus, including "Vegetarian Thanksgiving."  One copy of Helen's favorite vegetarian cookbook for each couple is also part of the package.

Helen is a lifelong vegetarian.  She learned to cook here on Orcas, at Camp Indralaya (which offers only vegetarian meals) and has cooked there for crowds of up to 100.  She has watched the evolution of vegetarian cooking from the time before there were ANY vegetarian cookbooks, to the present, when there are whole shelves of them in the bookstores.
