He has covered Washington and world capitals for The New York Times, authored several best-selling books and created 20 award-winning PBS prime time specials and miniseries on Washington's power game, Soviet perestroika, the global economy, education reform, health care, teen violence, terrorism and Wall Street.
Susan Zox is an artist and photographer who has been a vital collaborator in many of Rick's recent PBS specials, including the most recent film, "Poisoned Waters" which dealt with both Puget Sound and Chesapeake Bay. Rick and Susan have had a summer place on Orcas for many years and spend nearly every summer here.
