Join Brian Brenner for a spring/ summer afternoon biking along the Cape Cod Canal, and hear the story about the design and construction of the Bourne and Sagamore Bridges.  The two bridges were originally designed by Brian's company, Fay Spofford and Thorndike.  You'll take a look at some of the original drawings, and talk about planning for future access to Cape Cod, which is starting now.  After a leisurely bike ride up and back along the canal, you'll cap off the tour with cheese, crackers and cranberry juice.

Special bonus bridge:  the Cape Cod rail bridge, a giant vertical lift span!!
