Robert Parker and the Wine Spectator gave the 2006 Marcassin Estate Vineyard
96+ points, and 96 points, respectively, and gave the 2006 Three Sisters Vineyard
96 points and 93 points, respectively. Mr. Parker declared these wines as stand out
candidates for "wines of the vintage" in 2006, noting that: the 2006 Chardonnay
Three Sisters Vineyard (700 cases) possesses a superb texture in addition to
abundant amounts of popcorn, white currant, hazelnut, and tropical fruit blossom
characteristics, superb purity as well as acidity, a full-bodied mouth feel, and a
beautiful finish.
