2009 Solle Wines Cuveé Skylar Chardonnay

If you refuse to compromise on your Chardonnay, then this handcrafted, small
production beauty is for you. Handcrafted from a premium selection of
Chardonnay grapes sourced from the Split Rock section of Gap’s Crown Vineyard
in the Sonoma Coast appellation, this wine went through full malolactic
fermentation but saw only 20% new oak. It offers pleasant citrus and tropical fruit
aromatics that flow seamlessly onto the palate, where the smooth fruit is lifted by a
refreshing mineral note, a hallmark of the Sonoma Coast. “Célébrez le jus de
cougouar!” 100 cases produced.
Solle Wines is celebrating its 5th vintage as a boutique producer of Chardonnay
and Pinot Noir. Their wines are allocated exclusively to customers through their
mail list and restaurants. The 2009 Chardonnay is sold out, but is offered here on
an exclusive basis.
