One of the best Sauvignon Blancs that has been made in California is the L'Après Midi and the 2007continuesthatsuccessionofwonderfulSauvignons. Theproductionisjustover2,000 cases, and while some Semillon is often blended in, the wine is dominated by Sauvignon, with its notes of melony fruit, lemon grass, fig, and spice. The 2007 is very fragrant, with hints of honeyed grapefruit and spice.
