Friends, families, and members of Iao United Church of Christ located in Wailuku Maui, Hawaii, put this cookbook together with recipes for "locals" around the world. The church began it's history as the "Japanese Christian Church. This long history of over 110 years helped to produce this "Local" style cookbook. The congregation is now "poi.", and so is the cookbook with recipes from every nationality living on Maui. This open and affirming congregation welcomes all.
