Ty Lawson plays guard for the Denver Nuggets. He was drafted as the 18th overall pick in the 2009 NBA Draft by the Minnesota Timberwolves but was immediately traded to the Denver Nuggets. He played college basketball for the University of North Carolina from 2006 to 2009 and was named the ACC Player of the Year . During his career, he has played 65 games, scored 542 points (8.3 ppg) and grabbed 124 rebounds (1.9 rpg).
