“St. Basil’s, Moscow” is the first plate in “The Jewels of the Golden Ring”, a collection of limited-edition porcelain plates created by Fedoskino Master Artist Yuri Leonidovich Dubovikov. The series is inspired by original laquerware miniatures from Fedoskino. Bordered in 22-karat gold, the scene is illuminated by the intense light of the fireworks, which enhances the contrasting colors of the cathedral and gives the onion domes a three-dimensional quality.
