“A Song of Love” is the fourth plate in “The Legend of the Snowmaiden”, a collection of limited-edition porcelain plates created by Master Artist Sergei B. Devyatkin. They are inspired by original laquerware miniatures from the famous Russian lacquer center of Kholui. This series is inspired by masterpieces of Russian literature, opera, and ballet, most notably Rimsky-Korsakov’s opera "The Snow Maiden". A lustrous, richly colored rim is embellished with an extraordinary design in 22-k gold.
